Both of us are very involved in our faith; Erik working towards fellowship and ordination and Kimberlee working as the Youth and Young Adult Coordinator for the Central Midwest District.  As Unitarian Universalists we are dedicated to building saving, sacred community based on the principles of religious tolerance and open dialogue.

We will be married in an historic Unitarian Universalist church in Madison, Wisconsin by an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister. 

The symbol of Unitarian Universalism is the flaming chalice- the cup of life lit with the light of truth.  The symbol developed as an icon for use overseas in Unitarian relief efforts for Europe after World War I, and has since been adopted by nearly every UU church as a symbol of worship.
